We commissioned a turnkey, 110-meter robotic roller conveyor line for one of Asia’s leading shipyards, turning a bold smart-manufacturing roadmap into reality.
From raw plate infeed to welded-block exit, the line handles material flow, assembly, welding, and discharge in a seamless, unmanned process. It’s the beating artery driving the yard’s hull-production ecosystem.

Delivery Site
How We Delivered Certainty:
· High-precision synchronous control for accurate positioning under heavy loads. The 110-meter line uses servo motors and encoders to keep synchronous transport error within 5 mm over a 10-meter window, delivering stable, precise handling of large workpieces.
· Flexible layout for adaptable production. Assembly and welding stations use a lift-type roller design for smooth vertical movement and horizontal translation. Stations can run independently or together for coordinated control, supporting components of varying sizes and boosting line utilization.
· Multi-layer safety protection. The line features at least 14 emergency stop buttons, plus audio-visual alarms and photoelectric sensors for full-area safety monitoring and instant response.
· Premium components for quality from the source. Core control uses Siemens PLCs; electricals from Schneider; SEW drives ensure reliability and durability under high-intensity operation.
